8. River Kaveri is the lifeline of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The two states have been even fighting for it since ancient times. It originates from the Brahmagiri hills of the Western Ghats in Karnataka and flows from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and ends in the Bay of Bengal. The length of the Kaveri river is 805 kilometers.


10. Tapi River: The River Tapi originates from Bettul and ends in the Arabian Sea. The length of the Tapi river is 724km.
