IBPS Clerk 2019 Educational Qualification
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt.
The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online. Computer Literacy: Operating & working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts this online Common Written Test for clerical cadre (CRP Clerks -IX) positions. The exam will be of two tires, meaning that the online test will be conducted in both the preliminary and main stages. Total marks of IBPS Clerk prelims exam is 100 in a duration of 1 hour for objective type questions. Total marks of the Main exam is 200 in a duration of 2 hours for Computer base objective type questions. Exams will be held bilingually, that is, English and Hindi.
To qualify for the clerical cadre position at most Premier Public Sector Banks, the students have to qualify in these two exams. 100% weight is given for Mains test results. The interview process is not required for candidate selection after the IBPS clerk 2019 Maine exam. The structure of the IBPS clerk exam 2019 which will be conducted online are as follows:

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
Here are the penalties for wrong answers marked in both the preliminary exam as well as the Main exam. An incorrect answer to the objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth (1/4) of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for unanswered questions.
Cut-off Score (Online Main examination)
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online IBPS Main Exam & also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on the number of the State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided & candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Exam will not be shared with the candidates.
