Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most popular national-level MBA Entrance Exam which is conducted by the Indian Institute of Management for admission into 20 IIMs and more than 100 B-Schools. More than 2.1 lakh applicants appeared in the test last year. The CAT exam will conduct online computer-based, and also consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and non-MCQ types. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The Entrance Exam has 3-time sections 1) Quantitative Ability (QA), 2) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VA-RC), and 3) Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI-LR). The CAT 2024 Exam will be held in November 2024 and the result will be announced in January 2024. The shortlisted candidate will be called for further selection procedures, like a Writing Ability Test (WAT) Group Discussion (GD), or both, and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for the final admission.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level MBA Entrance Exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, for admission, offers into management programs at XLRI and XAT-participating Institutions across the world. More than 1 lakh candidates appear for the entrance test every year. The XAT exam will be held on 6th January 2024 in online mode computer-based only. To apply for the XAT exam, applicants must have a graduate degree from a recognized institute in any discipline. XLRI Jamshedpur and around 150 B-Schools will accept the XAT score for admission to MBA/PGDM programs across the world.

The duration of the XAT Exam is 3 hours and consists of four sections – Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability (DI & QA) and General Knowledge. Each question carries 1 mark. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Unattended questions beyond 8 will also result in a negative marking of 0.05 marks per question.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level postgraduate MBA entrance exam that will be conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA). The application process starts from 1st November 2024 to 30th November 2024. The CMAT 2024 will be conducted on 28th January; with the first shift- being from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. CMAT 2024 is an online also Computer-based Exam. 4. MAT

Management Aptitude Test, better known as MAT is conducted by the All India Management Associations (AIMA). The MAT conducts four times a year for admission to more than 650 B-Schools. MAT is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted in the month of February, May, September & December also. The MAT Exam is held both online – Computer Based Test (CBT) and offline – Paper Based Test (PBT) mode. The MAT 2024 exam will be conducted in more than 100 cities . Around 25,000 applicants appear for every session. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.  MAT exam has a total of 200 MCQ-type questions divided into  5 sections – Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and finally Mathematical Skills and Indian & Global Environment. NMAT’s full form is NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) Management Aptitude Test and now the NMAT is known as ‘NMAT by GMAC’. The NMAT entrance exam is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) to offer admission to NMIMS University and 25 other Management Institutions. The NMAT by GMAC is conducted online computer-based test. The duration of the exam is two hours and NMAT by GMAC 2024 consists of 120 objective type multiple choice questions into 3 sections – Quantitive Skills, Language Skills, and finally Logical Reasoning. 5. IIFT

Indian Institute of Foreign Tread (IIFT) Entrance Test is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted annually by the Indian Institute of Foreign Tread, New Delhi for Admission to IIFT MBA (IB) program. The IIFT exam offers admission to around 600 seats at the Kolkata and Delhi campuses. More than 55,000 applicants appear in the exam every year. The IIFT 2024 application process will be started on August first week. The exam will be held in December 2024 in the offline paper-based test around 20 exam centres in India.
